The party led by Ardian Gjinit has announced that it will send to the Prosecutor's Office the case of 18 decisions of the acting Government on the establishment of commissions for appointments in public institutions. The Alliance's MP, Besnik Tahiri, claims that these decisions were taken in violation of the law and that the acting Government is using the state administration for party interests.
Alliance MP Besnik Tahiri has accused the incumbent government of violating the law and attempting to put the state administration at the service of party interests.
In a press conference, Tahiri said that the Government, on August 12, made 18 decisions to establish commissions that, according to him, aim to make appointments to executive and government agencies and other public positions.
He has warned that the Alliance will send this matter to the Prosecutor's Office, requesting a review of the legality of the decisions.
Tahiri said that the incumbent government does not have full legitimacy to take such actions.
"On August 12, the RKS Government made 18 decisions establishing 18 commissions, with some of the same people to appoint to executive agencies at a time when this government is in office, has no legitimacy, is blocking the state, when these ministers violate the law on the Government by coming, swearing in as MPs and from there getting into a car and going to the Ministry," said Tahiri.

The Alliance MP emphasized that no government can use the state administration for party interests.
He warned that the Alliance will not leave the issue at the level of political statements alone, but will demand a review of the legality of the decisions and will address the competent bodies.
"This issue will not remain just a political statement, we will demand a review of the legality of these illegal acts and decisions and we will address the competent bodies. Meanwhile, to this incumbent government, we say: stop seizing the state, because the state does not belong to the party."
Among the decisions approved on August 12 by the acting Government is the one for the appointment of the Admissions Committee for the position of Deputy Director General at the State Archives Agency of Kosovo, as well as for the position of Secretary General at the Ministry of Health.
The government has also approved committees for the selection of candidates for the position of executive director at the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Justice, at the Agency for Free Legal Aid, as well as for the position of general director at the Agency for the Administration of Seized or Confiscated Property.
Civil society criticized PDK for not sticking to its position
Several civil society organizations have expressed their concern about these executive decisions a few days ago.
According to the Group for Legal and Political Studies, Article 72 of the Constitution, Article 26 of the Law on Government, and the Supreme Court ruling prohibit the simultaneous exercise of the functions of deputy and member of the Government.
