Ushtruesja e detyrës së presidentes së Kosovës, Albulena Haxhiu, ka shprehur keqardhje që Partia Demokratike e Kosovës dhe Aleanca kanë refuzuar ftesat për takimin të martën.
She said that the citizens of Kosovo are constantly speaking clearly through elections, while it is the duty of party leaders to implement the will of the citizens in practice.
“Më lejoni të shpreh keqardhjen time të plotë që pavarësisht ftesës sime të sinqertë, subjektet politike si PDK-ja dhe Aleanca refuzuan të njëjtën. Këtë refuzim e konsideroj veprim të gabuar, të pamatur dhe mbi të gjitha mungesë të vullnetit për të tejkaluar pozicionimet barrikaduese. Të tilla pozicione nuk e ndihmojnë askënd, aq më pak Republikën tonë. Qytetarët e vendit vazhdimisht janë duke folur qartë përmes zgjedhjeve, ndërkaq është detyrë e jona si përfaqësues të tyre e si udhëheqës partish e institucionesh politike ta zbatojmë atë në praktikë. Kosova ka nevojë për shumë punë. Zgjedhjet do të duhej të ishin opsioni i fundit nëse jo fare opsion. Mbetem me shpresën që deri të martën të kemi reflektim e takimi të jetë sa më i dobishëm drejt gjetjes së një zgjidhje”, ka shkruar Haxhiu në Facebook.
Haxhiu had invited political party leaders or their representatives for a joint meeting on Tuesday at 9:00.
The meeting, as called by Haxhiu, is consultative and is being held in relation to current political and institutional developments and the importance of reaching an agreement on a consensual president, as well as on the formation of other institutions.

E nga PDK-ja kanë thënë se çështja e zgjedhjes së presidentit mund të trajtohet vetëm pasi të funksionalizohet Kuvendi.
Deputeti i kësaj partie, Arian Tahiri, ka kundërshtuar rolin e Haxhiut në organizimin e takimit me partitë, duke thënë se ajo aktualisht është deputete.
“Pasi të funksionalizohet Kuvendi, hapen temat e reja, pra ajo është një deputete që po i jep vetes autoritet dhe po e përdor pozitën paraprake të saj si presidente për të marrë rol brenda menaxhimit ose organizimit të subjekteve politike. Kjo i bie si me thirr edhe unë. Është deputete, ka votuar për prezencë, qysh kam votuar edhe unë bashkë me Albin Kurtin, ka votuar për prezencë. Ligji e parasheh se nuk mundesh edhe deputet edhe president”, ka thënë deputeti i PDK-së.
Një ditë më parë, deputeti i PDK-së, Uran Ismaili, ka thënë se ftesa përbën tentativë manipulimi për afatet dhe se subjekti politik që i përket nuk do të dërgojë përfaqësues në takim.
"Haxhiu would have been better off writing a letter to (the chairman of the constitutive session, Avni) Dehari to call the session. What logic is there, how can you exercise mandates and send letters, when the first letter should have been sent to Dehari. PDK will not be at that meeting, we will be in the Assembly," he said at a press conference.
Të njëjtin qëndrim e ka shprehur edhe në Aleancë, e cila që nga fillimi ka refuzuar të shkojë në takimet e thirrura edhe nga kreu i Vetëvendosjes.
Shefi i Grupit Parlamentar të Aleancës, Besnik Tahiri, ka thënë se partitë opozitare nuk duhet të fajësohen për refuzimin e takimit, pasi sipas tij, kërkesa e tyre është e qartë: funksionalizimi i Kuvendit.
“Me na vendos neve në një pozicion që na jemi fajtorë që s’po shkojmë, ne jemi këtu çdo të dytën ditë. Na po jemi këtu që po themi hape derën… Në qoftë se do të kishte pasur nevojë për të pasur një tryezë të partive parlamentare për president, atëherë dihet si bëhet kjo. Konstituohet, dihet se kush janë grupet parlamentare, kush janë kryetarët e partive. Ajo tryezë ulet dhe e konstituon profilin e një kandidati konsensual, kriteret edhe zgjidhet, e jo na me shku atje çka me ba. Qele derën, maje seancën. Kjo është kërkesa jonë, jo takime pro forma”, ka deklaruar Besnik Tahiri të dielën.

Po ashtu, edhe kryetari i Aleancës, Ardian Gjini, të shtunën ka folur për kërkesën e Haxhiut edhe të Kurtit për takim, e edhe të Kurtit.
"You are not the elected president of Kosovo and you do not have a mandate to play the role of unifier of the political spectrum. You and Kurti are very transparent that you are not looking for a meeting to find a solution. You are looking for a meeting to find those responsible for your decision that you have already made, to send the country to elections. This time also in institutional chaos," Gjini wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, the Democratic League is the only party that has held a number of meetings with representatives of Vetëvendosje, on the possibility of co-government. And this week, the leader of this party, Lumir Abdixhiku, announced that he is finally giving up the demand that the post of president go to the LDK, and has expressed his readiness for negotiations to find a consensual candidate. This party did not indicate on Saturday whether they will participate in the meeting on Tuesday, called by Haxhiu, while a day earlier they expressed their readiness to meet Kurti.
The chairman of the constitutive session, Vetëvendosje MP Avni Dehari, did not heed the call of the opposition political entities to continue the session for the constitution of the eleventh legislature.
In line with the position of the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, he said on Saturday that an agreement on the president must first be reached, and then he will send invitations to continue the session.
"As the chairman of the constitutive session, I call on all political parties to sit together, take their responsibility and find a political solution that paves the way for the constitution of the Assembly, the formation of the Government and the agreement on a consensual president. The constitution of the Assembly and the formation of the Government without a prior agreement on the president means early elections, something we must avoid," Dehari wrote on Facebook.
Dehari, while arguing his decision not to continue the session, said that if he acted differently, tensions could increase.

"What happened three days ago in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo is exactly what I warned about. Any attempt to continue the session without a political agreement only further tenses the situation and increases the risk of clashes, even physical conflict, inside the Assembly hall," Dehari said.
