Vetëvendosje and the Democratic League have reached an agreement on a joint candidate for president. Their name is Bekim Sejdiu, a lawyer and diplomat. The leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, in justifying the proposal, said that as a political entity they were determined to find a solution to move forward and avoid the fourth new elections in these two years.
