Following Wednesday's tensions in the Assembly hall between PDK and Alliance MPs and those from the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti has sent invitations for meetings to the leaders of the political parties of the three main political entities represented in the Assembly: Bedri Hamza of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Lumir Abdixhiku of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and Ardian Gjini of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK).
KOHA sources have said that Kurti has not set a date for the meetings, but has left the time open, so that the meetings can take place whenever the leaders of other parties are ready.
PDK MP Blerta Deliu briefly responded that "it's a closed issue" when asked if Hamza would respond positively to Kurti's invitation.
The invitation was preceded by verbal and physical clashes between MPs on Wednesday in the Parliament premises.
Deputies from the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Alliance present in the hall requested that the chairman of the constitutive session, Avni Dehari, call for its continuation.

The deputies of the eleventh legislature took the oath in the constitutive session, which began on Thursday and was interrupted at the point of electing the speaker of parliament.
Kurti came to the Assembly podium with the request to present the proposal for speaker, but the chairman of the session, Avni Dehari, proposed that the proceedings be paused, in order to hold discussions with representatives of other parliamentary parties to find a solution regarding the president.
Two days later, the session was called to continue, but Kurti again used the same argument, refusing to present the proposal for the speaker of parliament.
After the certification of the election results, Hamza responded positively to Kurti's invitation. However, after the meeting, he stated that PDK will remain in opposition and that Vetëvendosje has other entities at its disposal to reach a possible agreement on the formation of institutions.

Meanwhile, Gjini is the only party leader who has rejected all invitations. However, he has publicly stated that the Alliance's MPs will participate in the constitution of the Parliament, the voting for the Government and the election of the President, if the new government implements the party's five demands. These demands include issues ranging from projects in the energy sector to the allocation of about 1 billion euros for the capital.
Abdixhiku, meanwhile, has held four meetings with Kurti, including one after the adjournment of the constitutive session. In the last meeting, the two discussed their differences over the election of the president. Kurti has insisted that the head of state be a party member, while Abdixhiku has said that this position should belong to the LDK.
