In a letter addressed to the prosecutor in Peja, she urgently requested measures be taken against those who, as she wrote, had failed to fulfill their duties in protecting her life.
"I urgently request that measures be taken against all officials who have seriously failed to fulfill their duties, shifting responsibility from one to another, thus allowing the consequences and the danger to my life to continue. I request the immediate execution of the court order and the opening of investigations against all officials involved, starting with the CSW," the letter states.
The victim further wrote that she hopes that the responsible institutions will not be forced to account only after her life has been taken, while calling the letter she sent "her last hope."
"This is my last hope. I hope that the day does not come when you and the responsible institutions are forced to account only after my life has been taken. Now I understand why there are so many murders! The woman with the law in her hand is killing the woman - not the man. Painful to the bone," the letter concludes.
