The Kosovo Philharmonic has undertaken to go beyond the usual programs both in terms of content and technical organization. Four piano soloists and the Kosovo Philharmonic String Orchestra have managed to perform a concert rarely seen in the region
The presence of four pianos in the Red Hall of the Youth Palace is a "premiere" in itself. The environment, which unfortunately also serves as a concert hall, has never hosted four pianos. But the Kosovo Philharmonic has undertaken to go beyond the usual programs, both in terms of content and technical organization.
Four piano soloists and the Kosovo Philharmonic String Orchestra have managed to perform a concert that is rarely seen even in the region. The works of Johan Sebastian Bach have started to be performed in the Hall where over 200 people were present.
"Concert no. 1 in D minor" with soloist Menan Bërvenik was the intro of Sunday night's concert. This work was only an intro for the audience and also for the Bulgarian conductor, Svilen Simeonov.
Then it was the turn of "Concert no. 1 for two pianos in D minor", which has already begun to give an even grander shape to the evening. The baroque works of one of the most famous composers of classical music are quite specific. They sound magnificent for professional instrumentalists and the public who are closer to classical music. Jeta Dumnica and Misbah Kaçamaku as soloists, accompanied by the Harkore Orchestra, made the attendees continue their journey with the colors of the baroque. The clothes of the four pianists on stage were also colorful, and this had multiple symbols.
The appearance of the three soloists on stage was a moment in itself. Mrika Sefa, Neritan Hysa and Menan Bervenik have continued to complete the mosaic of the evening. The trio performed "Concert no. 1 for three pianos in D minor". With the three times of this concert, the musical evening has already gone to another level. At the end of the performance, the audience had the longest applause, not only for the game, but it was the turn of what is considered the pearl of the evening.

In the "Bach Piano Extravaganza" concert, it was the turn of one of the most special works of the composer, but also of his creativity. With pianists Mrika Sefa, Neritan Hysa, Menan Bërveniku and Misbah Kaçamaku taking the stage, the evening took on a new look, completing the mosaic of four pianos with four soloists. When the conductor gave the signal to start playing, most of those present experienced the performance of four pianos simultaneously for the first time. For 12 minutes, the soloists together with the Arch Orchestra gave voice to the work "Concerto for four pianos in A minor".
The three times of this work have taken the public on a musical journey that is rarely experienced in the countries of the region and even in those that have a long tradition in classical music. For many the sensitivity has been indescribable. Even, the evening was quite exciting for the instrumentalists and the conductor themselves.
Together, they tried to give their best in one of the most important concerts in their careers.
Conductor Svilen Simeonov has said that it is a wonderful concert and that he loves Bach's works very much.
"I gave my best for the concert, the orchestra and the soloists. I have told them several times that Bach will suffocate me, but here I am still alive", he said. He thanked all the staff of the Kosovo Philharmonic.
"Here I feel like at home in Bulgaria. I am here with my friends, who give their hearts to art and music. Indeed, people in Kosovo are very humane. I will come back with a lot of love", he said. The conductor behaved with the same passion even after the concert. He has continuously said that it is a very special evening.

Pianist Misbah Kaçamaku described the evening as magnificent. He said that the greatness of this concert is in the fact that it puts Pristina in the cultural centers of Europe.
"I am very happy that the Philharmonia managed to realize this concert", he said.
Pianist Jeta Dumnica has said that such a concert is organized very rarely or hardly at all in the conditions of Kosovo.
"I am very happy that I was a part of this concert and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the pleasure they have given us," she said.
The director of the Kosovo Philharmonic, Baki Jashari, has described the concert as special and quite difficult to achieve technically, since four pianos had to be played together.
"Providing four pianos was not easy. What happened tonight does not happen often in the region. It can take 20 years to realize such an enterprise", he said. He showed that he was moved by the performance of the soloists and the Orchestra, but also by the reaction of the public. According to Jashari, the baroque has its own characteristics, so an evening complete with Bach was a separate experience for both the Philharmonic and the audience.

"Our soloists also gave a big impression. All of them, local staff, who performed Bach's works in the most professional way, including the conductor with full energy and vision. It is very delicate to organize such a concert", he said.
Unfortunately, the Kosovo Philharmonic cannot repeat the concert. Seats for that evening are booked within the hour. And the conditions do not give the institution the opportunity for as many people as possible to have access to the Sunday program that was played as if it were in any European capital, but actually in a hall that has a hard time holding the rain when it rains.
