Arbër Hoxha gave a long interview on Monday for Dinamo Zagreb's official channel.
During the interview, Hoxha said that the best day of his life was when he signed a contract with Dinamo Zagreb.
"When I signed for Dinamo it was the best day of my life. Dinamo is a great club, with great fans and a great responsibility," said Hoxha.
In the first half of the current season in Croatia, Hoxha scored some extremely important goals for Dinamo. But he singles out one of them.
"The goal against Rijeka was special. It was the 80th minute and a goal for three points. Moments like that remain in the memory forever," said Hoxha.
The winger has scored six goals and contributed three assists in 17 matches in the Croatian football elite.
Hoxha also spoke about the emotions he experiences when he scores in front of a stadium full of fans.
"When you see the stands and the fans dancing, it's an incredible feeling," Hoxha emphasized.
Although he is satisfied with the team's performance so far, Hoxha knows what Dinamo's main goal is.
"The most important thing is to be first in the championship and bring the title back to Zagreb. This is the club's priority."
The Albanian international was transferred to Dinamo Zagreb from Slaven Belupo in 2024. In Croatia, he also played for Lokomotiva Zagreb, while in Kosovo, he played for Balkan and Pristina, among others.
The 27-year-old spoke about his daily routine in Zagreb as well as the match that Albania played against Croatia in the European Championship held in 2024 in Germany.
Hoxha was brought on in the 85th minute in the match that ended in a 2:2 draw.
He tells of the fiery atmosphere created by the Albanian and Croatian spectators at Hamburg's "Volksparkstadion".
"It was a crazy match. When we arrived at the stadium, half of the stands in the stadium were filled with Croatia spectators and half with Albania supporters. Everyone was united and it was extraordinary," said Hoxha.
Hoxha has played 21 matches for Albania. He has scored one goal.
Before joining Albania, he played three matches for Kosovo.
