The speaker of Iran's parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, declared on Wednesday that Iran and its allied groups are "emerging victorious," adding that official Tehran is pursuing a "new order taking shape in the region."
Bagher Ghalibaf made these comments during a visit to Iraq.
"Our visit to Iraq today also aims to strengthen the new order that is taking shape in the region and accelerate efforts to expand joint cooperation between all countries in the region, without foreign interference," he said.
Iran insists that countries in the region must create new security ties that would leave the United States out.
During the recent conflict, Iran attacked several countries because they housed American forces and bases.

Iran hopes that this will make countries in the region reconsider their security policies and remove American bases, which Iran considers a direct threat.
"Islamic countries in the region should work towards deep engagements and ties in the security field, supported by sustainable economic cooperation," Ghalibaf added.
