Kamberi: The deregistration of addresses prevented us from winning a third term

Shaip Kamberi

He said that the election process proceeded generally smoothly, with some minor irregularities at the beginning of voting.

Regarding the possibility of a second term, Kamberi emphasized that the result also depends on the overall turnout in the elections in Serbia.

Speaking about the deactivation of addresses, he said that the people affected by this process have also been removed from voter registers.

"This has brought us into a situation where we will lose the third mandate we have claimed," declared Kamberi, describing the passivation of addresses as part of systematic discrimination against Albanians in the Presheva Valley.

He specifically mentioned Medveđa, where, according to him, the passivation of addresses has affected the election results of Albanians.

However, Kamberi praised the mobilization of Albanian voters and thanked the citizens who came from Kosovo to exercise their right to vote.

"In the last days of the election campaign, we had reactions from all over the Albanian space, which was an additional motivation for our voters," he said.
