On March 31, it has been 22 years since the first issue of the daily "Koha Ditore" was published.
The first edition was made in 1997, with a different approach to the circumstances and democratic movements, the wind of which was also felt in Kosovo.
At that time, Kosovo was still under Serbian occupation, and until today, "Koha Ditore" became a powerful voice for the country's freedom.
Today, 22 years from the day of its establishment, it has become a point of reference for Kosovar journalism in particular and for Albanian journalism in general.
A large number of famous Kosovar journalists have written about it, and some of them still continue to write.

The great credibility it has among the citizens, the newspaper has achieved thanks to the complete and professional staff.
The publication of the newspaper started at the time when the Serbian regime of Milosevic had conquered everything, and not only the country's news media.
From 1997 until March 24, 1999, "Koha Ditore" became a powerful voice of the Kosovo Liberation Army and aspirations for freedom.
On the day of the beginning of the NATO bombing against Serbia, Serbian forces attacked the headquarters of Koha Ditore, killing its guard and demolishing and burning the premises.
But no one could stop him from what he had as his main goal. Thus, even during the NATO bombings, it continued to be published in Tetovo.
At that time, the newspaper was distributed free of charge to readers, from where it became a window of information about the war in Kosovo.
Koha Ditore has stood the test of time, bringing readers the most reliable news in the country.
And, other media were born from it, part of the Koha Group, Kohavisioni, TV Arta, the Koha.net portal as well as the publishing sector.
