Manufacturers have begun to create, and some are already planning to practice, new technologies of rapid charging of batteries. Chargers with power up to 300W will hit the market soon.
In the coming period, OnePlus, Realme, Oppo and others will implement 300W fast battery charging in their phones.
In addition to increased charging speed, a larger battery capacity is also expected. Thus, many manufacturers will use 5500 mAh batteries instead of the current 5000 mAh.
The OnePlus 12 series, which will be released in early 2024 and will cost around 700 euros, is expected to bring a battery charging speed of 300W, which means that in theory the phone should be charged from zero to 100% in 10 minutes or less.
It remains to be seen whether the manufacturers will also work to improve the duration, battery life and performance.
