Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino will leave Saudi Arabia after just six months to return to English football. According to the English tabloid "The Sun", Firmino has asked to leave Al-Ahli in the January transfer window and several English teams have already expressed interest in his transfer.
Sheffield United has made an official offer after offering 10 million euros for the 32-year-old. It is said that Firmino is not at all happy in Saudi Arabia and will therefore return to England. He is the captain of the Saudi team, for which this season he has three goals and as many assists in 18 games played.
Firmino was transferred to Al-Ahli this summer as a free player and has a contract until 2026. In England, he played eight editions for Liverpool, while for four years he was part of Hoffenheim in Germany.
