Student List Leader in Serbia: Dialogue with Kosovo and European integration will continue

Illija Sërdanoviq

The Student List will continue the dialogue with Kosovo, developed during the previous government. This also means implementing the Brussels Agreement on the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, signed in 2013 with the mediation of the European Union, says Illija Srdanović, the first on the list to win the early parliamentary elections on October 25 in Serbia.

“Absolutisht.

Srdanović also emphasizes that Serbia will continue the European integration process and that everything will be done to inform citizens about the benefits of membership in the European Union.

He reiterates the call to avoid any form of revanchism in Serbia, and says that responsibility for the current security situation lies with the outgoing government, which is in office.

Srdanović was the first on the Student List, elected through decisions of faculty plenums in Serbia. The strategy of this movement, which emerged from two years of protests against corruption and in support of the rule of law, was to organize without a single leader.

After the convincing victory over Aleksandar Vučić's forces, which have governed Serbia for 14 years, the question arises as to who the Student List candidate for prime minister will be.
