The president of the European football house, UEFA, Aleksandar Ceferin, has indirectly attacked FIFA and the organization of the World Cup in Qatar.
He has said that he is sure that the World Cup will be at a high level, but added that he would not like to see a World Cup in winter again.
"I'm sure the World Cup will be fantastically organized, but I hope there won't be another World Cup in winter in the future. We are expecting a spectacle and a fantastic month of football and I believe that a representative from Europe will win the trophy again. Since 2006 we have had a champion from Europe and four years ago in Russia, all the semi-finalists were from our continent. Only Brazil and Argentina are strong competitors", Ceferin said in an interview for "delo.si".
