Atletico Madrid has officially started negotiations with the Liverpool striker, Brazilian Roberto Firmino.
"AS" reported on Tuesday that Atletico have already made an official offer to Firmino, who will remain a free agent at the end of the season.
The 31-year-old has already announced his departure from Liverpool at the end of the season and is considering offers from other clubs to continue his career.
It is learned that Atletico has offered him a two-year contract with the option of renewing for another year. However, Juventus and Inter are also in the running for Firmino.
This season, he has scored 10 goals and made 5 assists so far, while he has been part of Liverpool since 2015 when he joined from Hoffenheim.
