Striker Alexandre Laccazette will not be part of Arsenal's squad for next season. Lacazette will leave Arsenal at the end of this month when his contract expires, the Premier League team announced on Friday.
The club's announcement states that Laccazette has decided to leave Arsenal after five years.
The club thanked the Frenchman for his contribution during this period and wished him success in his career.
With the Arsenal shirt, the 31-year-old has scored 2017 goals in 71 appearances in all competitions since 206. Lacazette is expected to return to France, in all likelihood to the Lyon team, where he developed as a footballer.
