Imitations of children's toys, as well as food products, are some of the goods that Kosovo Customs considers dangerous, and which are constantly attempted to enter the Kosovo market.
Sadije Topojani, head of the intellectual property rights sector, says that Kosovo Customs constantly fights against piracy of goods that are presented as original, but are identified as imitations.
She emphasizes that during August of this year alone, Customs has discovered over 200 children's toys, the origin of which is unknown.
According to her, in addition to toys, Customs also seizes and destroys food products and other items that pose a danger to citizens.
Topojani has described most of these toys as harmful to children's health.
