The happy baby, the cobra, the peaceful warrior and the excited puppy are just some of the poses that a group of children are practicing.
The yoga class has brought them together to relax their mind and body, even though they are still young in age.
The difficult pandemic periods served for parents to take turns involving children in practices of mental, emotional and physical development of their little ones.
Nil Domi is one of the participants of the class, who says that practicing this discipline has helped him in many aspects.
The 10-year-old mentions the stress of testing in schools, which he no longer feels.

Outdoor yoga, an attractive activity for children
"I started doing yoga three weeks ago and my mom suggested that I come here. The reason I came is to relax, to relieve stress, to exercise, to have no sleep interruptions. I have noticed many changes, because when I have tests at school I no longer have stress or sleep problems. I would suggest to the children to come here, because you feel good and relaxed, your sleep is not interrupted at night and it helps you manage stress", says Nil Domi.
Rron Llalloshi is the same age as Nili.
The reason why Rroni started the science of the inner being has to do with his physical health problems.
"I started doing yoga three weeks ago and my mom suggested it to me because she told me that it is very good for my back and neck. My favorite positions are neck and back exercises. Before I started yoga I didn't have full sleep, I had back and neck pain, while now I don't have them anymore. I would suggest to my friends to come, because they find help for body pains or other problems", said Llalloshi.
Studio AbbeYoga's trainer, Arbëresha Maloku, is the children's companion for their 60 minutes of calm. She tells about the most frequent age groups she has in the studio.
"The studio has been open for a year and a half, during the pandemic. Seeing the demand for practicing yoga among children, I also opened this studio. There are different age groups, divided by levels. We now work with children aged six and up. There are beginner groups, adults, teenagers and such. Ages range from 3 - 6, up to seniors. There are youth, middle age and over 60 years old", said Maloku.

Yoga for children, the key to a healthy mind and body
The exercise of Indian discipline was initially intended only for adults, but the pandemic also benefited children who held online sessions alongside their parents.
"I started practicing yoga nine years ago. During the time we practiced with adults during the pandemic, I saw the tendency of children to stay close to their parents when they practiced. We wanted to open it earlier, but the pandemic had its impact, however, I am happy that we also coordinated with parents for schedules. Initially, we worked once a week, while now we continue twice a week", she added.
Maloku says that today, from an early age, children want to know how to manage fear, stress, hyperactivity or lack of energy. And these are some of the benefits they have when they spend time in the studio.
When something new is added to children's routine, it takes time for them to get used to it. The coach says that the children were familiar with the concept of exercises from their parents, so it was easier for them to adapt.
"Fortunately, this group was ready for yoga. I had little boys in the first grade and I liked this fact. They are very attentive and listen to every rule I tell them. Both children and parents are very enthusiastic. The parents are grateful, they have seen the effect on their children, so they are very satisfied. They always tell me about the problems that yoga has solved for them and the children", she said.

Maloku recommends parents to start exercising discipline for themselves, so that children can also be inspired by them.
During the last two years, the trainer says that the studio has collaborated with nurseries, non-governmental organizations, the Municipality of Pristina and parents to introduce them to the benefits of yoga.
