Characteristic components of traditional clothing in the region of Prizren, as well as lace, were presented in the framework of the two-day exhibition "Bride's Dowry - Daughter's Daughter of Four Communities", which aims to preserve handicrafts and present them to new generations.
The handicrafts of Prizren are going through difficult days as a result of the developments of the time. Such a thing is also affecting the change of traditions, customs and certain docks.
Efforts to preserve them are also being made with research and presentations by experts in the field. Thus, a two-day exhibition titled "Bride Dowry - Daughter's Daughter of Four Communities" has been opened in the Hammam of Gazi Mehmet Pasha in Prizren. This project aims to contribute to the preservation of handicrafts in order to protect and develop the cultural heritage in the old city.
In connection with this exhibition, it was emphasized that Prizren has different ethnic clothing, and that coexistence has also brought clothing and models that show traditional similarities, but that differ in the lines of clothing and the interaction of symbols.

The author of the exhibition, Zejxhan Celina, said that the interest in handicrafts is fading and that this is a contribution so that the traditions of Prizren are not forgotten.

"We have tried to show with few words and more details that our crafts are not forgotten, that four communities live in Prizren and we respect them, that's why tonight is the 'Bride Dowry of the Four Communities'." The girls are dressed in wedding clothes, which are worn the day before the wedding. I have researched a lot about chaise, even after talking with the women of four communities, we have come to the conclusion that chaise is chaise, in any community it is the same. What changes is only the traditional dress," said Celina.

Coexistence has also brought with it clothing and patterns that show traditional similarities, but differ in the lines of clothing and the interplay of symbols.
Shpresa Makasqi, an artisan, has expressed herself similarly, stressing that the old history of Prizren carries with it a multitude of traditions and customs, which are important to present to the new generations.
"Day by day the new generations are constantly losing these traditions, they are taking the traditions of foreign countries, other countries and one after another they are losing, and the young women do not know how we used to fold the wedding dowries or the other things we have and day by day we are losing them. It is a sin, because they are very good and old traditions of our city", she declared.
At the same time, there has been a call for more research and exhibitions of this nature.

"One of my orders is to have more exhibitions of this type, to remind the young people a little, to see what was done before, how all this was done," asserted Celina.
