Svečla: Committed to eradicating any terrorist remnants of Serbia in our country

Military uniforms and shells found in the north

Kosovo's acting Minister of Interior, Xhelal Sveçla, has reacted after Kosovo Police found an anti-tank shell and military uniforms with Serbian army emblems in the village of Jarinje i Poshtme in the north on Tuesday night.

Svečla said that the work and commitment to "eradication of every terrorist remnant of Serbia in our country" will continue.

"We continue to dismantle the criminal and terrorist elements of Serbia, in order to ensure the security of our citizens and the protection of our Republic. Last night, Kosovo Police units, while patrolling an uninhabited building in the village of Donje Jarinje, encountered military uniforms and jackets with Serbian army emblems, as well as an anti-tank shell. We will continue our work and commitment to eradicate any terrorist remnants of Serbia in our country without stopping. Our institutions remain fully committed to the law, security and protection of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo. Any action that violates the security of our citizens will be dealt with determination and professionalism," Sveçla wrote on Facebook.
