Kosovo Police arrested two people on Friday suspected of involvement in a case of "attempted murder" that occurred on January 29, 2025 on "Mikel Marku" street in Peja, where a police officer was attacked by five people.
According to the Police announcement, the operation was carried out by the Regional Investigation Sector in Peja, with the support of the Police Station in Deçan, as well as units from the Regional Police Directorates in Gjakova and Gjilan.
During the implementation of the operational plan, eight raids were carried out in different locations, where three firearms, nineteen cartridges and a bulletproof vest were found and seized.
The police have announced that the suspects have been arrested and further legal action will be taken against them, in coordination with the competent prosecution office.
