The Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren has filed an indictment against the defendant UD, and the legal entity "MLLC" due to suspicion that they have committed the criminal offense of "Misuse and fraud in public procurement".
According to the indictment, during August 2024 in Prizren, the defendant UD, in his capacity as director of the company "MLLC", during the application in the public procurement procedure entitled "Physical insurance in primary health facilities of the Municipality of Prizren", in the amount of 80,825.60 euros, submitted false documentation, namely an invoice in the amount of 4,775.00 euros, with the aim of fraud and influencing the decision of the contracting authority.
According to the indictment, the documentation submitted as part of the bid was verified by TAK and it was found that it was not declared according to the tax legislation in force.
For the same actions, an indictment has also been filed against the legal entity "MLLC".
The prosecutor in the case, upon filing the indictment, proposed to the court that after holding the judicial hearing, administering the evidence and evaluating it, the aforementioned defendants be found guilty of the criminal offense for which they are accused and sentenced according to the law. Likewise, for the defendant UD, the prosecutor in the case proposed the additional punishment of not exercising functions in the public administration or in the public service.
