Kosovo imported goods worth over 6.3 billion euros during the period January-October 2026, while exports reached 960 million euros.
According to official data from Kosovo Customs, imports marked an increase of 8.5% compared to the same period in 2025, when the value of imported goods was 5.81 billion euros.
The most significant increase in percentage was in exports, which from 774.8 million euros in the first 10 months of 2025 reached 960 million euros during 2026, or 23.9% more.
However, the difference between imports and exports continues to remain high. The trade deficit for the period January-October 2026 reached 5.34 billion euros, up from 5.04 billion euros in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Monthly data shows that July was the month with the highest imports during 2026, with 716.7 million euros, followed by October with 694.9 million euros and June with 676.3 million euros.
