The UN General Assembly on Thursday adopted a resolution blaming Russia for creating a dire humanitarian situation in Ukraine. The resolution received 140 votes in favor, 5 against (Russia, Syria, North Korea, Eritrea and Belarus), while 38 countries abstained from the vote, reported Reuters.
This time, Serbia's position regarding this resolution condemning Russia for the humanitarian crisis caused in Ukraine has not been announced. Serbian media have not reported on Serbia's stance this time either.
On March 2, Serbia voted in favor of the resolution that condemned the Russian aggression in Ukraine and for this he received a lot of praise from the West.
But Serbia stopped there, as it refused to impose sanctions on Russia, like almost the entire democratic world.
Meanwhile, Russia has condemned the latest resolution, calling it anti-Russian, Serbian media reported on Thursday. According to the Kremlin, humanitarian aid in Ukraine has been politicized.
