Croatian Jeronimo Sharin was introduced as the coach of Golden Eagle Ylli on December 2. He led the Suhareke team only until the end of December, while Ylli did not issue any other announcement about parting ways with him. After that, Ylli was led by Endrit Elshani for a few weeks, and since January 20, Spaniard Paco Olmos has been the coach.
Sharin, who already has a long experience in Kosovar basketball, had a two-month contract with Ylli, which ended on Monday. And since he no longer has contractual obligations to the Suharekë team, he spoke about the sudden and very quick separation with Ylli.
The Suharek club started the championship with big goals and with Greek Fotios Takianos as head coach. However, it has not yet found stability with any of the foreign coaches.
This raises the question of whether the problem lies with the coaches.
Sharin is convinced that if he had the right time at his disposal, he would be successful at Ylli.

"The separation came very early, but it was the club's management's decision," Sharin told KOHĪN.
With Scott Bamforth and Antwan Hall in the lineup, he is confident of success. Bamforth and Hall are among the key players of the Star. Bamforth, an American with a Kosovar passport, is the undisputed leader.
"The decision was the club's management's. I wish them all the best in the future. While during that month, despite all the problems I had, we won four games. The problems were related to injuries and the mental decline of the players. With Bamforth and Hall, I am sure that everything would be very good until the end. The management decided differently and I respect their decision," said Sharin.
He took over the management of Yllit shortly after parting ways with Vëllaznim of Gjakova. He was successful with Vëllaznim, and has also managed Sigal Prishtina, Bashkimi of Peja.
The star continues to invest heavily and work to create a team that can win the championship title.

Will Ylli change with Bamforth?
It has already been eliminated from the Cup. After the 18th round, it is only fifth with eight wins and a full ten losses.
On Sunday, the team from Suhareka suffered a very heavy defeat, 98:81, from Trepça in Mitrovica.
Only three foreigners were in the Yllit squad, which means that this club has the right to include two others in the 12-man squad.
The Star on Monday introduced the next American, Demetrius Conger, while another move could be made soon. Teams that have claims never leave a free spot reserved for foreigners.

Sharin's split with one club and then another only proves the instability of Kosovar basketball clubs, despite the huge and sometimes staggering expenses.
