The 26-year-old scored 40 points in 29 minutes of play in a 134-114 win at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.
The Canadian was also helped in the victory by Luguentz Dort, who scored 22 points, while Jalen Williams added another 19 points.
Both teams lead the Eastern and Western Conferences and have 34 wins and six losses.
In the other game played Thursday after midnight, the Sacramento Kings stopped the Houston Rockets' five-game winning streak, winning 132:127. DeMar DeRozan scored 31 points in the victory.
In this round, the Phoenix Suns also scored a victory, defeating the Washington Wizards. The Indiana Pacers defeated the Detroit Pistons, and the Los Angeles Clippers triumphed over the Portland Trail Blazers.
