There is nothing else that shows the importance of the Tiguan model for Volkswagen than the fact that in just two generations the brand has sold 7.5 million cars. Therefore, the well-known German company has introduced the third generation of the Volkswagen Tiguan, with new engine options, advanced technology, more space, practicality and a more comfortable design.
The Germans have brought the hybrid model that can travel up to 100 kilometers on electric power alone. There are also eHybrid versions with the electric battery, which combined with the 1.5-liter gasoline engine offer 113 horsepower. The Tiguan eHybrid can charge the battery up to 80 percent in just 25 minutes.
VW will also offer other hybrids with the 1.5-liter engine, with 128 and 148 horsepower. There is also a 2.0-liter gasoline model that offers 201 or 261 horsepower.
While the diesel model, the 2.0-liter TDI offers 190 horsepower. There is also the 2.0 TDI model with 148 horsepower.
All variants are automatic.
As for the interior, VW has brought changes to the main system by changing the design of the main controllers. There is a 12.9 or 15-inch screen in the center and a new "Atmospheres" option that modifies the interior lights.
