The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xelal Sveçla, has said that Belgrade is following the trends to destabilize the country.
He said that the attacks of the last few days were organized by criminal groups orchestrated from Belgrade.
He added that they attacked police officials, members of KFOR, journalists, as well as damaged and burned official cars and those of various media.
He said that today two citizens of Serbia were arrested in Jarinje who were carrying illegal equipment for riots.
"Furthermore, they spread dangerous messages through inscriptions with symbols of Serbia's genocidal past and Russia's aggressive present, and by provoking Serbian flags on Police vehicles. All these elements are the continuation of the criminal actions of these gangs, which have occurred since the post-war in the north of Kosovo, in order to destabilize our country. When all the cities of Kosovo experienced freedom, our northern municipalities were occupied by criminal gangs. Unfortunately, 24 years after the end of the war and the fall of Milosevic, we are still faced with his policies. In the past, Vucic was his propaganda assistant, Ivica Dacic was a close associate of Milosevic, while Aleksandar Vulin was the closest associate of his wife, Mira Markovic," he said.

He added that these leaders of "autocratic and violent" policies continue to have the same approach.
Sveçla said that from the recent attacks, members of KFOR were injured by gunfire, while according to him, there were calls from the crowds of protesters to kill members of the Kosovo Police.
According to him, these criminal actions are unacceptable and all the perpetrators of these acts will be brought to justice.
"The two criminals who attacked the members of KFOR on Monday have been sentenced to 30 days of detention, while during the day two citizens of Serbia were also arrested by the Kosovo Police in Jarinje who were carrying illegal equipment for riots. One of them, a former fighter in Koshare and decorated by Slobodan Milosevic, is also suspected of being a member of 'Brigada 72', a Serbian military formation that serves for special operations with the aim of destabilizing countries. He was escorted to our border point by the nationalist and Russian-phile member of the extreme right, Strahinja Erak", he said.

According to him, security institutions have increased vigilance and are in full coordination with international partners regarding these developments.
"Any individual or criminal group that intends to escalate the situation, endanger the lives or safety of our citizens, will be confronted with the force of the law and justice. I appeal to our citizens to be restrained and not to fall prey to threats and blackmail. I invite all citizens, for any threat, pressure or uncertainty, to cooperate with the security bodies which are 24 hours at service to provide their security. The Government of the Republic of Kosovo is always at the service of all citizens without distinction", he said.
