Protest and plenary session today in Albania. This is what is expected to happen this Tuesday. And while the Assembly will meet at 10:00, most likely at the same time the united opposition will also protest against the Government.
Since February 16, this is the fourth opposition protest. Meanwhile, at yesterday's meeting of the SP group, the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama said that there will be no scenes like last week in front of the Parliament. And while at the meeting, the Ministry of the Interior was asked to guarantee the safety of the MPs, starting last week on February 26, when some MPs were attacked by protesters.
Meanwhile, in order to avoid any confrontation, the deputies of the majority have been ordered to be present at the session at 09:30. Meanwhile, the four new deputies will be sworn in today. Yesterday, the Central Election Commission has decided to give the mandate of deputy to the candidate Edmond Abazi, thus replacing the former deputy of the LSI, Endrit Braimllari. Also, Aurora Mara has taken the mandate of deputy, replacing the former deputy of Dibra, Përparim Spahiu.
Enver Roshi in the district of Elbasan will also be the deputy of the LSI in the Assembly, instead of Haxhinasto. Another candidate in the multi-name list of LSI who has asked to enter the parliament is Ylli Shehu.
He was sentenced to a fine of 200 Lek and he declared this himself in the self-declaration form. However, the CEC decided to also give the candidate to Shehu, representative of Tirana District, who replaces Floida Kërpaçi.
