Shaip Kamberi wants the presence of Kosovo in the Valley

The only Albanian deputy in the Assembly of Serbia, Shaip Kamberi, met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi and the Minister of Education, Arbërie Nagavci.

He wrote on Facebook on Monday, that he talked with the two officials about the course of general politics in the Presheva Valley. The topic of discussion was also Kosovo's engagement in the dialogue with Serbia for more rights for Albanians.

"We talked about the general political trends in the Presheva Valley and the region, the need for a greater presence of the Republic of Kosovo in the Presheva Valley with concrete projects, the needs of the citizens of the Valley in Kosovo, and especially for greater commitment to the inclusion of the rights of Albanians in dialogue with Serbia by applying the principle of reciprocity", he said.

On the day when Bislimi and Nagavci visited the Presheva Valley, the prime minister of Serbia, Ana Bërnabiq, visited Kosovo, stopping in the north of the country.

In front of hundreds of Serbian citizens, Bërnabiq declared that he came to Kosovo to bring messages of peace, although he provoked and threatened.

"The Serbian people (in Kosovo) should know that no one, no one dares to endanger them", she said on Monday, during her first visit to Kosovo as prime minister of the neighboring country.

While the mayor of the Municipality of Presheva, Shqiprim Arifi, has not agreed to meet with Bislim and Nagavc, in the meeting scheduled for 15:00 with the political leaders of this municipality.

He said that there are several reasons why he will not meet with them, while he emphasized that he does not agree to submit to the policies of the Vetëvendosje Movement.

"I will not meet with them because they have ignored the municipality of Presheva and every Albanian in the Valley. The other reason is that these are the policies of the Vetëvendosje Movement, because I do not submit to them, and I see the criticisms it gives within the framework of its policies in the dialogue lacking in concept and in the inclusion of Albanians in the solution. Another reason is that they still haven't sent the two million euros promised to Lugina", he said.
