Two people have died in the General Hospital of Peja in the last 24 hours. According to Peja Hospital, one has been confirmed with COVID-19 and the other is awaiting the result.
A 78-year-old patient confirmed positive with COVID-19 died, while a 71-year-old suspected with COVID-19, but had not yet been tested, also died. The sample was taken and the results are awaited.
Peja Hospital also announced that 77 people are being treated with COVID-19, and 32 of them are receiving oxygen therapy. Seven are in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the director of the Directorate of Health and Social Welfare in the Municipality of Suhareka, Besa Kuqi, has announced on Facebook that a citizen from Suhareka has lost the battle with COVId-19. She said that the citizen was lying in the Prizren General Hospital and had tested positive on July 24.
