Prime Minister Albin Kurti has spoken about the claims of two companies from Gjilan that they produce combat drones.
Kurti, who in November last year visited the companies "Future Minds Academy" and "Miga Skyshield" in Gjilan, in a statement to the media after his visit to the Medical Chamber, said that he could not know the details of each company.
"I have visited hundreds of companies in and around Kosovo during this four-year period. I cannot say that I know all the details of each company, but of course I am open to listening to criticism when something has not been as presented to me. When it comes to detailed technical and professional aspects, I cannot know in advance what they are for each company," Kurti declared.
In November, Kurti wrote on Facebook that "we are also producing combat drones ourselves."
Sources have told KHOHA that what the prime minister presented on Facebook as combat drones were mock-ups. Both companies are relatively new. According to the online registry of the Business Registration Agency, they were registered as enterprises in 2025.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the last time they visited these companies, the drones were not combat, but commercial.
A source within security institutions has raised suspicions that the drone seen in the photo may have been assembled based on materials purchased in China - a country that disputes the state of Kosovo.
One of the videos that the owner of "Future Minds Academy" has used to promote the "Skifteri K1" drone is suspected to belong to an aircraft manufactured in China.

The video posted on Facebook by Ridvan Aliu, owner of "Future Minds", is a snippet of the video by the manufacturer "Hinaray", which promotes the H70P drone, and the Chinese company had published it three days before.
Military experts do not believe it is possible for companies in Kosovo to have the human and professional capacity to build drones at this time.
