The Central Labor Inspectorate has announced that it has stopped work on two construction sites, one in Pristina and one in Viti.

The Inspectorate's announcement states that the decisions to stop the works were taken after finding irregularities and the lack of necessary measures for Occupational Health and Safety.

The ban will reportedly remain in effect until the irregularities are eliminated and safe working conditions are created.

The Central Labor Inspectorate has called on all employers to respect the legislation in force and guarantee the safety and health of workers in the workplace.

During the day, the Inspectorate announced that due to irregularities at the workplace, work has also been stopped at a construction site in Kllokot.

"The Central Labor Inspectorate, during field inspections in the municipality of Kllokot, has found irregularities in the field of occupational safety and health. As a result of these findings, the inspectors have issued a decision to temporarily stop work on the construction site, until the irregularities are eliminated and safe working conditions are created," the announcement states.
