The National Institute of Public Health in Kosovo has appealed for citizens to wear masks indoors and be vaccinated against COVID-19.
In recent days, there has been a slight increase in positive cases. Although IKSHPK has said that the situation is calm and stable, it has appealed for caution in the implementation of preventive measures.
"Dear citizens! Please wear masks indoors and get vaccinated! These days, Kosovo records a small number of new cases of COVID-19 and, moreover, fortunately, there are no cases of death from this disease. But, in different countries of the world, many cases of COVID-19 are still being registered, because the COVID-19 pandemic is not over," the announcement states.
IKSHPK has invited citizens to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
"In order to strengthen immunity and prevent new cases and severe forms of the disease, citizens are advised to be vaccinated, with the first dose those who have not yet done so, while others with the second dose and the third dose of the vaccine against COVID-19. Ministry of Health and IKSHPK recommend citizens that, despite the calm and stable epidemiological situation in the country, be careful in implementing preventive measures against contagious diseases and get vaccinated against COVID-19", says the call of IKSHPK.
After several days with single-digit cases, the last two days saw a slight increase with 15 new cases on Wednesday and 17 on Thursday.
