Deputetja e Partisë Demokratike të Kosovës (PDK), Eliza Hoxha, ka thënë se qëllimi i rikthimit të Ligjit për Specialen në Kuvend ka qenë që të mos lihet hapësirë që ai të bëhet i pazbatueshëm dhe barrë për procesin.
Ajo ka thënë se gjatë pjesë e rishqyrtimit do të jetë të gjithë akterët relaevantë.
“Kërkesa për tu kthyer ka qenë sepse ka pasur disa reagime të akterëve nga jashtë që duhet të shtohen disa gjëra, duhet të trajtohet më me finesë një paragraf apo një tjetër, jo specifikisht se çfarë do të ndryshohet, prandaj do të ketë një proces kur të rikthehet”, ka theksuar Hoxha në një intervistë në emisionin “60 Minuta” në KTV.
On October 6, the Assembly approved amendments to the Law on the Special Court, at the initiative of the PDK. The purpose of the law was to limit the mandate of the Special Court in time, territory, and subject matter.
The Assembly made the decision after sentencing four former KLA leaders, Hashim Thaçi, Jakup Krasniqi, Kadri Veseli and Rexhep Selimi, to 81 years in prison on charges of war crimes.
Until the moment of approval, there were protests in front of the institutions for several days.
Following the request of the PDK, which had initiated and drafted the Law, President Justina Shiroka-Pula returned it to the Assembly for review.
The PDK's request for its reconsideration before being decreed by the president was not supported by all of its MPs.
