THE NEWSPAPER IS BACK

Even at the end of this year, "KOHA Ditore" comes printed on paper

KOHA Ditore has returned to the readers in the printed version. In its 48 pages, the newspaper offers accounts and analysis of the events that marked the year in politics, education, health, economy, justice, culture, sports and the world. The readers who bought copies of it on Saturday, at the points of sale in "Meridian" and "Spar", expressed their expectation for the return of the printed daily newspaper.

Labinot Guri, a citizen from Kaçanik, on Friday saw a post on social networks that he can read the Koha Ditore newspaper again this end of the year printed on paper.

And on Saturday, when it went on sale, Guri bought the printed newspaper, the festive issue of Koha Ditore. He expressed his happiness that, at least during the holidays, he will not use the phone to get information.

"While today I had work in Pristina, I came from Kaçanik and printed some materials for studies and decided to buy it, in fact I barely found the location and bought it. It is a desire to have the newspaper in paper form, in addition to the existing portals. Besides reading and completing crossword puzzles, I save newspapers," said Guri.

And what awaits Guri when he starts browsing and reading the newspaper, explains the editor-in-chief of KOĖA, Brikenda Rexhepi.

"In this issue of the new year, as usual, there are different contents of different genres of journalism, articles a little longer than we are used to reading for every day on portals, and I hope that the readers will enjoy it ", said Rexhepi.

Rexhepi expressed optimism that in the near future, readers will have the newspaper at their disposal every day.

"We are trying to return to our readers the feeling of the paper at least once a year, with the hope that each time the time will come to have a daily newspaper in Kosovo again. We miss it, mostly those of us who have applied written journalism, but also our readers and I believe, the new generations would also need it since it is a different type of journalism that we need both as a society and as a community", she said. .

Koha Ditore first appeared on April 1, 1997, but its printing was discontinued during the Covid-19 pandemic, due to Government measures. However, KOHA continues to offer the newspaper to readers in digital form on the Koha.net portal. And since 2020, it was printed only for festive year-end numbers.
