The mayor of Pristina, Shpend Ahmeti, said that today's 36 victims of COVID-19 in Kosovo were not fully vaccinated.
Ahmeti further added that "vaccination is our weakness", adding that there are not enough vaccines at the moment.
"Thirty-six. Fingers crossed later. Vaccination is our weakness. The difference between Kosovo and other countries with a similar number of infections is the percentage of vaccination. None of the victims were fully vaccinated. But still not we have enough vaccines, and we don't have enough will to vaccinate. Allow dialogue, visits everywhere to friends who give us vaccines - Turkey and Israel and any country that helps us. Short-term strict measures to slow down the infection and mass vaccination for them speed up the defense. There is no other way," Ahmeti wrote on Facebook.
