The Italian football club Fiorentina has announced that six new cases of coronavirus have been reported to this team. It is about three footballers and three staff members.
This was announced after the first round of medical tests.
All Serie A clubs are testing players before returning to training. This is done to prove that the players are not affected by Covid-19, before they return to the training complexes.
Those affected at Fiorentina are isolated, while the rest of the team is expected to start training on Friday.
Last month at Fiorentina players like Patrick Cutrone, German Pezzella and Dushan Vlahovic were affected by the coronavirus. Members of the staff were also sick, while some have been hospitalized.
On Wednesday Torino announced that one of its players has tested positive for the coronavirus.
