The representative of Kosovo in basketball (women) has learned the opponents for the European Championship for small countries, the Kosovo Basketball Federation (FBK) announced on Wednesday.
The women's representative A will participate in international competitions for the first time and is part of Group B together with Cyprus, Gibraltar and Luxembourg. The European Championship for small states will be held from July 20 to 25 in Cyprus, while the Kosovo representative has already started preparations.
"This is the first time that Kosovo A girls will play in official competitions. We are proud that we are also debuting with our girls in the international arena. I hope we will have the best possible representation in these competitions. Of course, the desire and motivation is great among the basketball players of Kosovo. We have started with gatherings and will continue with intensive training. We want to prepare as well as possible for the debut", said the director of the representatives of Kosovo, Granit Rugova, for the FBK official website.
