Striker Roberto Firmino will not be joining the Barcelona squad as previously reported, after the Spanish outfit have called off his transfer.
"Mundo Deportivo" announced on Tuesday that Barcelona is not interested in the Brazilian due to the high demands for his salary.
Firmino, who will leave Liverpool in the summer after refusing to renew his contract which expires at the end of the season, is considering offers from other teams following Barcelona's withdrawal.
It is learned that Atletico Madrid, Roma, Inter and Juventus remain in the race for Firmino.
The 31-year-old this season has 11 goals and 5 assists in 33 games in all competitions for Liverpool, a team he joined in 2015 from Hoffenheim.
