Argentine striker Sergio Aguero has been taken to hospital for tests after suffering a chest problem, Barcelona announced on Saturday evening.
Aguero was substituted shortly before half-time in the match between Barcelona and Alaves, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Aguero collapsed and held his hand to his chest as he received treatment on the pitch for a few minutes before being taken to hospital. Barcelona said he was taken to hospital for a "heart check".
Barcelona interim coach Sergi Barjuan told La Liga TV that he could not say anything more than that Aguero had been taken to hospital and was undergoing tests.
