INTERNATIONAL WORKPLACE GROUP OPENS TWO NEW REGUS CENTERS IN PRISHTINA AS DEMAND FOR FLEXIBLE WORKSPACES CONTINUES TO GROW

REGUS

The opening of these two new locations in Pristina follows the company’s best-ever results in terms of revenue, cash flow and profits, as well as the rapid expansion of its network. During the first half of 2026 alone, IWG signed a record number of 728 new locations worldwide, bringing the global network to over 6,000 contracted locations in more than 120 countries.

Much of IWG's expansion is driven by its capital-limited growth strategy. About 95% of new locations are developed through partnership and management agreements. This model enables building owners and investors to get more out of their properties, while providing IWG with the ability to expand its global network quickly and efficiently.

Located at RR Tirana (Prime Residence) C4 and 37 Mark Isaku Street, the two new centers are part of International Workplace Group's efforts to respond to the ever-growing demand for flexible and quality workspaces in Pristina.

The centres, scheduled to open in August and December 2026, will offer workspaces for established companies and new businesses from sectors such as technology, professional and financial services, retail and international organisations. Through the Design Your Own Office service, companies will be able to tailor their offices to their needs. The new Regus centres will include private offices, meeting rooms, co-working spaces and creative spaces.

Building owners have decided to invest in International Workplace Group's platform to increase the profitability of their spaces, capitalizing on the growing demand for hybrid work models.

Academic studies show that flexibility in where and how you work brings numerous benefits to employees, including a better work-life balance, financial savings and improved well-being. There are also benefits for employers: hybrid models can increase productivity, reduce costs and create more efficient and engaged teams. A recent study conducted by IWG in collaboration with consultancy Arup found that hybrid work can increase productivity by up to 11%. According to the study, thanks to flexible workspaces, hybrid work could add up to $566 billion in gross value added to the US economy each year by 2045 – a value comparable to the economic contribution of the city of Austin, Texas[i].

As companies of all sizes increasingly move towards flexible and decentralized working models, the market is growing rapidly. It is predicted that by 2030, flexible workspaces will account for 30% of the entire commercial real estate market. Through International Workplace Group, partners can benefit from this growing sector, drawing on the company’s extensive experience. Hybrid working enables businesses to significantly reduce costs, with an average saving of $11,000 per employee[ii].

International Workplace Group is the leading global platform for workspaces, with thousands of locations in more than 120 countries. Through the IWG app, members can access all of the company's locations and business services.

With the acceleration of the shift to more flexible, decentralized and hybrid work models, the potential for further growth is enormous. Globally, there are an estimated 1.2 billion employees in office-based occupations, with a potential market size exceeding $2 trillion. During 2025, International Workplace Group signed agreements for 1,132 new locations, 99% of which were partnership agreements. The company's clients include 83% of the Fortune 500 companies.

Christian Schmitz, CEO of International Workplace Group PLC, said: “With the opening of these new centres, we are strengthening our presence in Prishtina, where we see a great need for our spaces and services. As an important business hub, Prishtina offers excellent opportunities to advance our expansion plans. We are very pleased to partner with DERVISHOLLI SH.PK and INTER STEEL to develop the Regus brand through a management agreement, which will bring modern and equipped workspaces to their buildings to the highest standards.”

“Our new centers in Pristina are opening at a time when more and more companies are realizing that flexible working models are very popular with employees. They help improve work-life balance and increase their satisfaction, while at the same time bringing numerous benefits to companies. Our working model has been proven to positively impact productivity and enables businesses to expand or scale up at significantly lower costs, offering access to thousands of locations.”
