The information service has been born since ancient times, when society was divided into classes and class war began between them. With these ideological explanations, the State Security at the beginning of the 70s started a history of the establishment of what for five decades was considered "the steel hand of the people that builds socialism".
From the introduction of the "History of the State Security Weapon" one gets the impression of a document that no one or only a few people should have seen.
With the stamp placed on the cover, where it says "Declassified", the Information Authority on the former State Security Documents on Wednesday declassified the 7-volume history of the State Security, which is made available to those interested.
In the announcement posted on its "Facebook" page, the AIDSSH has announced that the declassification of the State Security records, which was compiled by this structure itself, has been declassified in accordance with the amended Law 45/2015.
In this history - which was foreseen "only for internal use and for Security employees" - the weapon of the State Security was deployed in historical periods of the war against "external and internal enemies".
As specified in the preface of this declassified document, its drafters relied on the Party's Central Archive, the State Historical Archive, the People's Defense Archive and that of Albania's Foreign Affairs.
