For the second game in a row, Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane scored for England. But unlike the match against Spain, in which Gordon and Kane's goals weren't enough, on Tuesday night they scored for victory.
England beat the Czech Republic 2-0 in Prague in their second match of Group A3 of the Nations League. The English responded to their 3-2 defeat to Spain at Wembley three nights earlier.
Gordon scored for 1:0 in the 47th minute, while captain Kane scored the second goal in the 69th minute.
The Czech Republic played with one less player on the field from the 25th minute. Pavel Schulz was sent off. The Czech Republic had also suffered a 2:1 home defeat to Croatia.
On October 3, England plays in Rijeka against Croatia, while the Czech Republic travels to Oviedo where they face Spain.
