The film "Vulë" written and directed by Valmir Tertini, continues to seal success on the international stage. This film project was recently awarded the best director award at the Lake City International Film Festival.
The award at the festival held in Delhi brings to eight the number of trophies that the film has collected so far.
Director Valmir Tertini talks about the journey of the film "Vulë" so far and plans for participation in other festivals.
"The eighth award for 'Vulë' was at the eighth edition of the 'Lake City International Film Festival' where we were nominated for two categories: for best actor and best director and we got the latter," said Tertini.
"Vulë" tells the story of Viktoria, an irresponsible employee at the German Embassy in Pristina. Through her story, the topic of visa liberalization is touched upon.

"The focus of the film is more on the individual, that is, on Viktoria, who is irresponsible and does not deal much with the work that belongs to her, i.e. with issuing visas, but leads a different life in the city of Pristina", he explained.
According to him, this topic is being well received by the audience of international festivals.
"The next festival is 'Everest Film Festival', which was planned for January 8 and 9 online, but now they are preparing to be held physically and it has been postponed a little, but this is the next for our film," he said.
Tertini is currently on the verge of finalizing the documentary about Bekim Fehmi.

Kosovo competes with two films at the Sarajevo Film Festival
"We finished shooting in Belgrade, Pristina, Tirana and Sarajevo, and because of the pandemic we stopped them. We have left to shoot in Italy, France and the USA to finish the long documentary about Bekim Fehmiu", said Tertini.
Meanwhile, the cast of actors of the film "Vulë" includes well-known names from Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia.
