Turkey with a record number of deaths from COVID-19

Turkey has recorded 217 deaths from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the highest number so far in a day in the country.

This was confirmed by the Turkish Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca on Wednesday.

Now the death toll in Turkey has reached 15,531.

However, with 31,712 new cases, the number of people affected by the coronavirus now reaches over 1.5 million, reports Reuters.
