Today, Speaker Kadri Veseli has called the coordination meeting for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue. The meeting is expected to be held today at 11:00, in the Assembly of Kosovo.
As it was announced, the guests are President Hashim Thaçi, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, the Negotiating Team, as well as representatives of parliamentary groups from the opposition, LDK and VV.
But neither LDK nor VV will respond to his invitation, reports Koha.net.
The LDK does not plan to participate in this meeting, where the president, the prime minister and the negotiating team are also invited. Deputy Vjosa Osmani has said that they will not be part of an attempt to legitimize a process that, according to her, is harming Kosovo.
Even Vetëvendosja will not participate in this meeting. This was confirmed by the deputy Albulena Haxhiu for Koha.net, that same day when Veseli made the invitation. She said that Kadri Veseli, among other things, is also a controversial figure, and she calls his appeal pointless and worthless.
"Sometimes they slandered LV and sometimes invited them to dinner. We have never been present at these useless meetings called by Kadri Veseli, which are at his and Hashim Thaçi's service, nor do they have the goal of unification, so we will not participate even on Monday," said Haxhiu.
She further said in her response to Koha.net that divisive figures like Thaçi and Veseli do not bring unification, and as she said, it is illogical and absurd to believe in something like that.

"We do not become part of the bargains that have started in relation to the negotiations, on the contrary, we will strongly oppose them. Kadri Veseli has been holding him hostage for more than 6 months and does not proceed in the session with the report processed by the Government on the challenges and achievements in the process of negotiations with Serbia, so instead of enabling this debate, he calls such useless tables, so without any value. The country must go to extraordinary elections as soon as possible because one more day of this Government without the legitimacy of the scandals and a President with dangerous ideas is a great harm to the country and the citizens", said deputy Haxhiu.
It is the second time that the speaker of the Assembly, Kadri Veseli, invites institutional leaders and opposition representatives to a joint meeting to coordinate the dialogue, after the formation of the negotiating group led by Fatmir Limaj and Shpend Ahmeti.
LDK and Vetëvendosje are not part of the team.
