The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Faton Peci, has said that the government commission for the assessment of damages caused to material goods is doing the assessments on the ground, after the floods that some municipalities faced.
He said that the Ministry that he leads has foreseen a compensation for damages in the agricultural sector in the amount of 3 million euros and will proceed with this tomorrow for approval in the Government.
In the session of the Assembly of Kosovo, he said that since September 30 of this year, the central government commission for the assessment of damages caused by material goods, where the relevant ministries are part, has been established.
"At the stage we are currently in, the central committee of this mechanism is making assessments and is receiving data from the field and from the municipalities, while if we talk specifically about the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, we have foreseen a compensation for the damages in the agricultural sector, in which the monetary value of the support is 3 million euros, and we as the Minister tomorrow will proceed to the Government for the next meeting", said Peci./KSP
