The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has said that it is good news that there is an agreement with the European Union on the steps to be taken to improve the situation in the north.
She said that every action is coordinated with the allies, adding that it is important to maintain the stability of the region.
Osmani said that Kosovo is acting in line with its institutions and the legal obligations it has.
"We hope that the EU withdraws the measures that have been taken against Kosovo unjustly and we can continue with more success in the dialogue. As for the procedures for the preparation of the elections, it does not need much time. The laws give the opportunity to organize elections", she said.
He added that on April 23, the Serbs did not participate in the elections due to blackmail by the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vučić. He stated that Kosovo will act according to its obligations.
