Osmani: The pandemic did not change our approach to inclusive education

Today, the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani met with the Minister of Education, Hykmete Bajrami.

Osmani, through a post on Facebook, congratulated the minister in office Bajrami for the work done during this time of pandemic in the field of education.

"Today, with the Minister of Education, Mrs. Hykmete Bajrami, we discussed the process of organizing online learning, a very challenging process for MEST, but also a proof of the exercise of institutional responsibilities to exercise a basic right, that of access to education. I thanked Minister Bajrami for the good management of this process by MESTI and, through her, all the staff of the Ministry, and in particular the teachers and educators who are doing an excellent job, despite the difficulties and facing the dangers from the pandemic" , writes Osmani.

Osmani further writes that she is happy that this lesson is being organized for the non-majority community as well.

"Today, during the day, I will visit the school "Emin Duraku", in Prizren, to convince myself of the quality of the organization of online learning for them", she writes.

"The pandemic has influenced us to reevaluate the objectives for education, but it has not changed our approach to inclusive education and quality improvement. As the Assembly of the Republic, we will support all those who understand the importance of education and the importance of investing in it", writes Osmani.
